Ok. I kid you not. Dr. Agah and her dental assistant (I think her name is Azrah. Sorry if I totally butchered that!) are the most amazing dental duo of all time. I came to get a few filings fixed. I’m normally really anxious because I can either feel the pinch from the numbing injections or I feel actual drilling being done in my teeth. I felt nothing and fell asleep three times during my procedure. What!? I know right.They are thorough and professional. I’ve heard people say that surgery sometimes looks like an elegant dance. Though my work wasn’t surgery, I totally understood what they meant, as I sat in my dental chair watching the two interact and naturally flowing to the next step – like an elegant dance that just makes you feel calm and at peace. Come here and make everyone you know come here. I all of a sudden don’t dread going to the dentist anymore. High five!

I’ve been seeing Dr Agah for almost a year now, and she has been nothing but fantastic. She is always very friendly and patient, and great about explaining dental procedures, etc whenever I’ve had questions. Dr. Agah is by far the best dentist I have ever been to, by far. Incredibly professional and knowledgeable. Actually takes the time to clean your teeth herself instead of having the dental hygienist do all the work. She also did better job of explaining if I needed braces than any of the three orthodontists I’ve seen in the past!

I’ve been going to Dr. Agah for a couple of years now after she was recommended to me by a friend. She works fast and efficient and always makes sure that I understand my financial responsibility with each procedure that is not fully covered by my insurance. Her semi-annual cleanings make my teeth feel squeaky clean and give me the boost again to start flossing daily. I’ve always been a big wuss when it comes to needles, especially long ones that need to be inserted in my mouth, but for some reason she makes me feel calm and at ease when she’s about to numb my entire jaw.Another thing you have to love is that she works two Saturdays a month. This means I never have to take time off work or return to work while drooling down my chin from still being numb. I’m going to get Invisalign through her at the beginning of 2012 and really excited to have this work done. She’s been my favorite dentists since the one I had when I was 10 years old. I bit down on his thumb, however, one time and since then he hasn’t allowed me back. Good thing his practice is in Germany anyway 😉

I have an extreme fear of going to the dentist. I waited for over 3 years since my last visit. I remembered how good she was about 5 years ago. I went back a few days ago. Dr. Agah very friendly and took time to make sure I was comfortable. There was a lot to do and she made sure I was at ease the whole time. I even had to go back for a follow up a few days later for two cavities and the procedure was a breeze! She is an amazing dentist and I can’t wait to back again. She has definitely settled my unhappiness about going to the dentist.

I have never *liked* a dentist. Until today.Dr. Agah is friendly, inspires trust and makes you feel comfortable. When she delivers bad news, she does it in a way that makes it clear that it will be taken care of, and she clearly explains the problem, its causes, everything that needs to be done, what it will entail, a tentative time schedule and exactly what it will cost. And she doesn’t guilt trip you for lapses in dental diligence, but she does explain the benefits of being more attentive.I couldn’t recommend her more highly.She is also a 10 minute bus ride from the Stanford campus (about a 5 minute walk from the Tofu House and Pizza Chicago), so she is a great option for students.
